Mostly we are lucky that our air ain’t that bad to breath – yet!
The commute and school run doesn’t help. Neither does having what is practically a full blown motorway running through Marston Vale. When Marshalls traffic adds to mix we might want to watch out.

Ecosia-ing “Cranfield Air Quality” revealed a new monitor and its data located at the University. Without knowing much about it yet, here it is.

A few years ago the council mounted an Airly monitor on the Bedford Rd, Crane Way junction, the helpful air quality index sign is still there, but the monitor is now long gone. I asked what had happened? It was only a trial apparently and discontinued because the data wasn’t adequately accurate to meet safety(?) or whatever standards for governmental use. But it was good for us because it was live and easily accessible.
